About Me

I'm originally from Los Angeles, where I started performing in various small theatre productions before moving to New York to study voice, acting and dance. Back East, I performed in productions of The Music Man, Evita, West Side Story and Oklahoma. I moved back to LA to attend UCLA for theatre directing, but discovered that my passion is performing in front of an audience. I worked for twelve years as a lead singer on various cruise lines including Holland America, Royal Caribbean, Radisson, Silversea and Oceania. Next came the original world premiere production of Naked Boys Singing! which garnered the LA Weekly Award for Best Ensemble Musical Theatre. I was a proud member of the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles for twenty years, playing the Hollywood Bowl, Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Greek Theatre and Carnegie Hall and touring South America.  I've been a resident of Palm Springs for the past three years, where I've appeared in many shows at the supper club PS Underground. I starred as Frank Butler in Annie Get Your Gun at Desert Theatricals in Rancho Mirage for which I won the Desert Theatre League Star Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Musical. At the same venue, I performed as Applegate in Damn Yankees!  I wrote and performed my original cabaret show 1963 at the Arthur Newman Theatre in Palm Desert and the Revolution Stage Company in Palm Springs.
